  1. The ID that requires ID on Sousveillance in Seattle - Watching the Watchers · · Score: 3, Insightful

Is a great ideer. I should at least be able to record who recorded my ID.
So when I get my creditcard bill, I can see that Greg Pinpolowsky wanted to see my ID when I bought my last computer. However I think the shops would dislike of this, private persons "gathering" personal information is generaly disliked, since few would trust them not to misuse it.
Corporate bodies however, who are actually in a position to misuse personal information, are generaly trusted.

In Soviet Russia the system is watched over by you!

  2. Re:Patents application on Randomly Generated Paper Accepted to Conference · · Score: 1

Don't know much about music and copyright, but you could try to find the simplest variations that are copyrightable since using these would still breach the copyright. Silence has been copyrighted in quite a few music numbers, but as I understand only at specific lengths. Would be fun to sue someone for simply copying your copyrighted 1 sec of silence 22 times in a song.

  3. The ultimate terror scenario. on The Top Three Reasons for Humans in Space · · Score: 1

The year is 2164, an enormous rock is heading in our direction....

The entire population of the moon will have to be evaquated to the earth or they will all die.

I'll be laughing my ass off poiting fingers at all those people who "just had to live on the moon".

Then ofcause die as the rock hit.

  4. Bad. on Hitchhiker's Movie is Bad, says Adams Biographer · · Score: 1
Really bad. You just won't believe how vastly, staggeringly, jaw-droppingly bad it is. I mean, you might think that The Phantom Menace was a hopelessly misguided attempt to reinvent a much-loved franchise by people who, though well-intentioned, completely failed to understand what made the original popular - but that's just peanuts to the Hitchhiker's movie. Listen. And so on...
Already I love this review... I'm going to see it ofcause simply because of the specieleffects used in recreating Marvin (A dwarf and flamingofoam). If it suck, so what? Nomater how good it is I'm still going to have endless debates with people based on the worth of the movie, simply because I like HHGG.
