    putting mail in other people's boxes is illegal because if you can put things in, you can try to sneak stuff out. many things in this country are dependant on semi-reliable postal delivery. imagine if a neighbor who didn't like you dropped off pamphlets and happened to "lose" you VISA bill for you.

    i picked it due to being the successor to star office 5 which came with my old computer. at the time I also used word 95, star office and later open office quickly became the only apps which could open recently created .doc files because word 95 can't open word XP (2000? whatever they called it) so i eventually got rid of MS office entirely because microsoft made it useless.

    nowadays I use abiword for most stuff due to it being faster and having a smaller memory footprint than either OOo or Office XP

    umm...you do realize that there is no abolute center and left vs. right is based on the population as a whole, if the population moves right then the center moves to th right of what it was in the past.

    if you change perspective from the US population to the US+Euro population of course the US left will seem more right because Europe is to the left of the US.

    But around the time of the 2004 US elections, some of us we did notice the reports that his viewers were the best-informed of people who got their "news" from television. Not that that's anything to especially proud of, I suppose, considering that you can easily match the news in any hour of evening news with 10 minutes at news.google.com. Except maybe for your local crime and/or cute child/pet story.

    is "best informed" defined as most closely folowing the democratic party?

    activision only does the mathematical (mod10 i think is the name) test for validity, and credit card generating tool or list of generated numbers will work

    actually if the problem is caused by an engineer cutting corners the engineer responsable CAN be held responsable through lawsuits and even prosecution for negligence.

    i have never had a problem using free software due to icons, and most of my screen time is spent on free software, gaim, firefox, thunderbird, abiword, openoffice, 7zip, foobar

    the onlt software i can tink of i use regularly that isn't free are a few games, ut2k4 and everquest 2

    a hard drive floats a sensor micrometers above a platter spinning at thousands of RPM. In that situation over time something is bound to go wrong. all a CCD has to do is sit in one place, Not fall off and absorb light.

    you mean "complying with what might be law in some places"?

    predisposition towards disability is not a disability itself. also some traits possibly tested for would not fall under disability anyways, such as possible tendancies towards dishonesty, crime, incompetance.

    last i saw Canon charged about $7-$8 for ink, but their gear is usually more expensive than a similarly spec'd epson or HP
