Tried it all in Konqurer, and no problems at all. I hate hackers but maybe these problems will finally start driving people towards alternative browsers. My website currently gets 85% windows users and only 65% IE users. So that's a good start away from IE.
One time I licked a phone line to see if it was in fact plugged into the wall behind my desk. It would have been a hard crawl to get back there to check- and I assumed that phone line voltage was pretty low (like licking a 9V). Oh man did a get a good shock from that. Moral of the story: Power over Ethernet is a good thing, just don't lick it and you'll be fine.
I worked recently as a contractor for IBM where I helped contribute to the design decisions for the POWER7. This article is great because it describes how the design decisions happen at IBM and it is right on the money. It's interesting because the way IBM does it is different from most other companies.
You should definitely make money off of the spectrum just because you can. But mainly this article is about better managing the spectrum for the rollout of new technology. The united states FCC is quite crappy at it, and they need to revise it as they have.
Being a linux newbie myself, I purchased this book and it was a great read. Much easier to read than some other tech books. I'd recommned it anyone, cept the hardcore power users.
