Well, there is one way that the OpenSource community can take over and Lead the way over the networking protocols.
Come up with our own protocol.
I have had this Idea in my head for a while, but I am only a network support tech, not a programmer, so I couldn't do it myself. I have some great ideas, but no way of implementing them.
Besides resolving more DNS entries... aka, more web surfing, I plan on getting up off my computer (what a shock!) and seing the (dare I say) world. Also I want to get a bit more active in the Linux community, learn C, get my MCSE (I'm sorry, but I need the dough), learn PHP3 and 4, fix my Linux IrDA problems, install a Linux kernel on an SH3 processor, make Bill pay for his crimes against humanity, and make more prhases with my Fridge Code.
Well, due to the fact that the server couln't handel the amout of processes of people registering, I don't think that 2M will be a problem. At least I hope so, and that the server is not broke!:)
