the only reason that cds/dvds caught on like they did is because you don't have to rewind... noone *REALLY* cares about sound quality...
its all about convience, thats why people choose mp3s over cds, even though cds sound much better(generally)
So since people are already used to these formats it makes sense to use it for data as well...
removable media wont have a huge turning point untill theres multipule GB fixed media drives that are small and inexpensive....
untill then ill stick to my hotswap hard drive trays and my 30 60 and 80 gig hard drvies.

i totally didnt realize that palpatine was the emporer... what about the sith master that was instructing darth mal/doku... is that palpatine switching back and forth?? it was obvious that palpatine was gonna be corrupt, but i didnt quite grasp that he would become(or already is) the sith master.
also, i thought that there was differant actors that played the emporer between empire and jedi... im getting antsy for the third movie now...
either way i hope these shorts are better than the droids cartoon... or godforbid the starwars christmas special
I loved every minute of them, i wish they would do made for tv movies based on all the starwars books out there, ive only read a few.. but they all ruled.. or even better yet, made for internet divx movies.
The clones wern't supposed to be on the side of the jedi.. they were made in the name of the jedi, and the jedi found out and used them to fight the droids because they had to... but they were made for the old jedi master guy that the jedi think is dead, who i bet turns out to be the emporer.
