I run Linux, so your argument is entirely irrelevant. Besides, that's somewhat like saying: "Gee, that's a swell app, but it's too much trouble because you have to download and install it." WTF? Dude, go back to luserland.

Why the hell would you want to output wma etc? That's basically closing your audience to people who run doze or people who gone to the trouble to set up the proprietary codecs on other systems. From a community standpoint, wouldn't mp3 be the best format for output? Ogg would be the most optimal, but unfortunately hasn't become common enough.

What the hell are you talking about? You seriously have watched way too much star trek and have smoked way too much crack. If there were no public school systems, what the hell would a voucher mean? Do you know that very strong research shows that there is generally no increase in academic performance when a student transitions from a public to private school? Do you realize the voucher program only helps upper middle class families who are right beneath a certain income threshold send their children to private schools (which largely means private "Christian" schools.) Do you realize that if there were only private Christian schools in this country, this would greatly conflict with our constitution's basic principle of church and state? Do you understand the importance of separation of church and state for a society to function harmoniously? If you don't, please monitor the news, and try analyzing the political situation in Iraq.

Now regarding this silly notion of tribes you have engrained in your head, I think you're confusing the tribe composed of the New American Century conservatist extremists composed of Donald Rumsfield, Bush, Ashcroft (and yourself it appears), with the vast multitude of "tribes" that is the United States. The best way to succeed in your plan of solidifying "our tribe" as you refer to it, is to round everyone up in America in opposition to your way of thinking, have them killed, build your freaking lasor canon powered megaship, go into space, nuke the earth, and live happily ever after in your political utopia on your megaship - straight shooters only.

Man, you are sick. Get with the program dude.

Okay, let's phrase it correctly: "Tax cuts for everybody that pays taxes and portioned in such as manner as to allow the rich to send all 15 childen (if they have 15 children) to Harvard for 6 years each... and people with lower middle class incomes to say 'Golly, gee batman! Not to rant.. but ahem... I find this comment completely asinine. First of all, comparing a absurdly rich coporate exec (at Hormel or any other company) to a North Korean politician is tantamount to comparing a wife beater to a serial killer. I do give thanks on behalf of the people who enjoy Hormel Spam to the thousands of workers at Hormel who made spam possible, but not to the rich execs there who are probably cutting workers' wages while they give themselves fat raises and using euphisms like "strengthening leadership" or "reinforcing management" in the annual businness plan spreadsheet instead the honest line: "My stocks are going down ... Oh well, more for me, less for them." Also many rich execs at old school company's didn't get there because of their innovative skills or hard work, but because the great grandfather or great grand uncle (highly irrelevent people in the current) did all the dirty work for them 100 years ago. This is not a question of which brand of politics is best, but simply how can we better check our capitalist system to allow more equity.
