I just got back from Interop in Vegas (yeah, it rocked) and flying just sucks anymore. I was wearing flip flops and they insisted I take them off and send them through the xray machine! Another guy I was traveling with had to go to the counter because his name is "John White" and they thought it might be an alias for some Muslim suicide loser...the dude couldn't be any more gringo! Next time we are just going to drive, since I live in Arizona it shouldn't take much longer.
I got the dual head for my Ferrari 4000 and had a heck of a time getting this working...in fact, I just gave up and went back to my lappy486 screen. it was pretty dang cool for the 1 day it worked. I never got it to work after that. Yes, ATI X700 Mobile Radeon GPU.
Cool laptop. Cool Matrox thing. Just not so cool together.

Rather still stands by the story. The old coot has lost it. Sadly, he is just the poster child of what is wrong with the main stream media. They are used to watching others but sure shrivel up when the light is turned on them.

It seems to me that the internet is helping us all realize an early pipe dream: work anywhere. I know, damn, I didn't mean Bangladesh (that's where my job went and let me move to the BFE). However, I must admit I don't miss rush hour or my kids recitals anymore. I do miss good radio and more than a handful of restaurants. However, I have gotten way better at CS and DoD and Call of Duty.

I live in Safford and you guys should see this thing! Its freakin' huge, you can see it from town and for miles around, this big ol' white box up on the hill. Its awesome!
Its also a win for scientists vs. environmentalists. The wackos have opposed this for years and their efforts led to the unchecked fire that almost destroyed the site this summer.
