    BPL isn't progress.
    It's a black pit for all the money that has been spent on it.
    It's not been adopted in most to the places it's been tried as it's a crap way of doing any kind of networking.
    Some technology is crap.
    BPL is one of them.

    Last month I was in Clovis Califorina and I could her BPL on my Mobile HF set up in the early evening at 3975. The band was long. BPL propigates just like all RF signail in the HF bands. There is no BPL in Clovis/Fresno Ca. It was skip. It was 20 over S9. BPL is a threat to all HF communications. It should be banned world wide.

    I didn't say formenting Genocide isn't a crime. I said that the UN was guilty as those rightfully convicted of it. The UN hands are unclean as are those of those who ran the radio station and encouraged the genocide "soldiers manning roadblocks were tuned to the radio station" according to the BBC. Formenting hate is a crime when people act on it and you have an expactation thety will act on it. Untill then it's just speech. The UN could have stopped it before it happened. It didn't.

    I at one time had a webiste which detailed how a local cop murdered a friend. I have never even been approached by the cops (who got away with it.) I have never been threatend by them. I have never been investigated by them. You don't get jailed in the US over speech, you don't even get invesigated. I just read in the UK about some Raggie singer (not even in the country at the time and not a UK citizen) being investigated by the UK cops because he bags on gays in a song? It's a hate crime. The crime hate speech. WTF? Free speech in the EU? You can't sell NAZI shit in France (must remind them of how they gave into the NAZIs so quickly.) Must be more of that UK free speech at work there eh? The UN will make speech a crime and will be trying to get US citizen in the Hague for speech crimes that is what is up with this.

    How about all that money being made on the internet. They feel the need to redistribute that wealth doncha know.

    Well I was aware of this project for a long time.
    Too bad you didn't RTFA (for the 99.9% who posted.)
    The whole premise of this project was to build a off the shelf "cruise missle" to prove that any reasonable handi person could do it.
    It also was to show that hijacking jets wasn't necessary anymore if you were a motivated terrorist.
    Cruise missles are pretty low tech.
    The V1 is a prime example.
    His experince homebuilt with pulse jet and ram jet engines were the stepping off place for this.
    His whole point was that we need to be very afraid if he could do it in his garage in NZ.
    The result of that is being fucked with by his Socialist government.
    If the government wants to fuck with you it can.
    The Taxes he supposedly owes are a ruse.
    Socialist goverments are no less opressive than any other.
    All governments are all suspect when repressing the truth.
    The Truth is they don't want you to know how impotent they are in defending you against missle technology of any type.
    They can't have anything that might detract from you putting up with their latest greatest bulshit infringment of your rights.
    If I was going to trust anyone with a missle it would be this guy.
    Much he did to build it he didn't make public to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.
    This was the plan from the begining.

    I think they could do better than use low band VHF for this.
    You would get more bandwidth as well.
    AU has few people so they have more unused spectrum to play with.
    I would think a higher frequency and better enginering would yield better results.
    At around 45 Mhz the antennas are still quite large though the signal does tend to travel well over hilly terain in this frequency range and it can propigate via the E layer at the right time of year as well.
    Well at least it's not in the middle of the Ham bands for once (being a Ham myself.)
