Office 2007 (now) prompts on file save if you want to keep the original format or if you want to update the document to the later version. The prompt dialog at that time also lets you know what you'll actually gain or lose from by upgrading or remaining with the previous version.

...and microsoft won't even host drivers on their web page. They do. http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/maintain/DrvUpdate.m spx (Microsoft delivers updated drivers for your devices through Windows Update.) Think it's any easy enough task to gather a list of 3rd party hardware driver links let alone provide the processes, infrastructure, and mechanisms for driver verification and testing and installation on millions of heterogenous computer systems from 3rd party device manufacturers with various degrees of driver development quality?

Even though the parent post mentioned it as an offhand comment, Walt Disney was not actually cryogenically frozen. There are some pretty interesting rumors circulating about his post-mortal whereabouts, such as the common "he's frozen underneath the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' in Disneyland". Additionally, Disney Corp's wish to respect Walt Disney's private-life did not do much to dissuade those who believed otherwise. No ice-cube Walt here as it turns out he was in fact cremated. A simple google search turns up some relevant sources. Such as a pretty detailed site here with a copy of his death certificate and of course, nothing beats an interview with the unthawed Walt himself.
