"The computer system is very elaborate, having over 250,000 lines of code." Wow, I've helped write PHP applications that have more code then that. Of course , that was all buggy to hell too.

Had a hard time with the blurb for that matter. if you are going to mention the name of a product several times, please learn how it's written!

Not mySQL. For that matter, not mySQL, MYSQL, MY-SQL, or mSQL (that's another program actually)

It's all over their website. Something that simple will help keep you from sounding amateurish as a reviewer.

Sure there will be more shipping lanes. Charlotte, NC will become quite the busy seaport. Right along with Austin, TX and Atlanta.

(yes, exaggeration, but not by that much!)

Yeah sorry - I should have put "Coalition Forces Only". The parent was talking about a US resident being in more danger in the Army, or in a city. An even better stat would have been a per thousand number. Probably would have skewed to being a bit more dangerous to be in the Army.

  5. Death Stats - Iraq and Detroit on Lockheed Martin Plans Unmanned Aircraft · · Score: 2, Interesting

    A quick Google search -

Total Deaths Due to Unnatural Causes 2000 in Detroit (page 55)
    955 - 719 Male, 236 Female (Black Non-Hispanic: 540 Male, 178 Female)

    Iraq War - March 2003 - Feb. 6
    2,452

Don't know if the Detroit numbers have gone up or down, but that was an average of about 80 people a month in Detroit and 70 a month in Iraq. Not making any judgement about anything - just giving numbers. I'm not planning on moving either place any time soon.

    a. Doesn't look like it - it supports flattened PSD files. I think Apple is wanting you to use this before you get it into Photoshop, or if you don't need to touch up an image THAT much.

    b. "With its Spot tool, Aperture provides one-click, nondestructive removal of spots, dust, and blemishes. For more serious anomalies, Aperture packs a Patch tool. It can easily clone pixels from one area to another, and it offers precise controls (for softness, radius, opacity, and angle), letting you create perfect, seamless blends." c. Couldn't find it either

Look at the default metadata categories that it offers - EXIF, IPTC, Photo Specs, Photojournalism, Stock Metadata, Wedding. It looks like Apple is aiming at the photographer who goes back to the hotel after a day of shooting, chooses his 80-90 shots he wants, does quick touch-ups on a dozen or so and sends them off to an editor or wire service to pick which one to run. It can be Photoshopped later if it needs to be.
