If you use firfox there's a plugin called FoxyTunes that you can set to wake you up. It'll just start whatever media played you have at a certain, so you can prepare your own playlist.
I'm fairly sure Ender's Game is on many school reading lists. I do know that it's on the American Library Association's "100 Best Books for Teens" though.
Well, the movie is coming from a book and not a game. Plus, OSC is helping with the script. There's another game coming out (already out?) called Advent Rising that OSC is also invovled with. I believe he is also releasing a book based on the same story.
You can just burn the songs to an audio disc and re-encode them to MP3 or something else. iTunes will even burn and encode the songs for you. If you don't care about the album cover it shouldn't be that much of a hassle.
I do believe he plans on selling advertising space within the program. That's what he announced on the TWIT podcast (This Week In Tech)
