Yes, its very nice... but the fedora project page has VERY Little information.. what has happened in the last month... where are they at at the next devel release.. there was supposed to be one in october... that passed... up2date with severn BREAKS up2date (adds the bad ssl cert) so up2date no longer works... I've been with RedHat since version 4.0... but the ES priced itself out of my reach... I'd rather pay the microsoft tax for my 3 boxes... it'd be cheaper... $349 a year X 3 is over a grand a year...
Fedora looks good.. but, like I said, there have been no updates on the site since it moved to the redhat domain... Maybe I'll switch to Open/FreeBSD..:(
I got a lexmark printer for $50... came with two cartridges... color and blank and white... I think if I buy the ink seperately I spend more than $50... printer's out of ink? no worries, buy a new one!
Maybe/. doesn't review bad books... but it would be nice to have someone say, 'Hey this book blows, don't get it...' but then the publishing co. wouldn't send in the free books...
I've 100% moving AWAY FROM T-MOBILE when my contract is up... the phones suck balls, every 3 days my phone asks me that I'm in a new time zone, do I want to update.. funny thing is.. I've been in the SAME GOD DANM timezone since I bought the phone. I rarely get the text message that I have new message waiting for me.. usually I get it on the 2nd or 3rd message.. for some reason my phone CALLS me, not a texdt message, but CALLS me when I force a call to voice mail.
If I can keep my number I will wait the extra 2 weeks to move services.. if they delay it, oh well.. new number for me!
When I worked at a record store back in 1994.. 12.98 was the MSRP for most CD's... if they weren't 12.98 it was 11.98, 10.98 or 9.98. so they are taking prices back to 94.. well.. it's a start..
Support any local music review site.. I run a site that reviews local and national acts, with a forcus on local acts.. But I'm not what you want, as I still review RIAA acts..
I don't send spam, at all, but I'd rather GET the spam than pay for email... spam is getting easier to filter out anyway.. spamassassin, razor, dcc, pyzor etc...
Most of the people who use the net now, when the see a popup, they close it..
so when the average john q public sees the full screen ad,they will just figure its a popup and close the browser... after realizing what they did they would get upset and just say f'it.
I know for a FACT that CDNow.Com (now sleeping with Amazon ung..) had dynamic content and menues before 1996.. my first order with them was in 94 I believe... too bad the earliest email I have from them is 98...
Didn't you see the Opera press release? http://news.com.com/1601-2-961985.html No need for WAP and the like... Opera rules. So I don't care about the 3 line old school phones..
I'm not saying that I don't create 100% compliant websites.. my wap site works well..
My other sites, may not have all of the alt tags populated, because they are spacers...
What percentage of people browsing the web are blind or the like? maybe 1%? Why should I make my site accessable to the 1%? I know this is flame bait, but let me take this a step further..
My site is in english, so I also be required (or whatever he is pushing for, I don't care.) to support russian? or all of the other languages?
(I couldn't care less about my karma on./ anyway... it's usless. just as my eToys stock)

Apple's Quicktime Player v6 wouldn't play it either...

iTMS can still reject your sorry attempt at fame.
WTF is up with that quote?
CVS works wonders right... we can SEE who added the code can't we? Wouldn't it be funny if it was a SCO employee that did it?
I still think they should SHOW what code was lifted, IF any..

I JUST bought an e-reader last saturday... damnit.. oh well at least I got it for $30 instead of $40 with my $10 coupon from Pokemon Ruby...

Yeah!! Just ask Stan Lee!
Welcome to /. Have a nice day!
So if I rely on someone else to translate my site, why not let someone else make my site accessable to the blind or disabled?
Or is that too hard so someone said fsck it, I'll make the webmasters do it instead..
and if I did become a member of the 1%, I really doubt that I would care about the web. I mean, no pr0n.
Well.. you could create the same site with different sizes and such for the 50 people.. heh..
