I bought a D70 recently. I choose cameras by using them (and of course reading the odd review). This way i've always bought cameras that I, myself, can take great pictures with (previously, Canon A70, Olympus C-5060).
I also tried out the Canon 300D and 350D, E-300 etc. The Nikon felt best in my hand. That's the secret to a good camera/photographer relationship.
I would put up with having to install a plug-in if it meant getting better results. Perhaps Nikon's plug-in produces better results?? They did create the camera, after-all.
I think Nikon's biggest problem is they have no decent mid-range D-SLR. But then I can't imagine what you would need that the D70 can't deliver.
I use RHEL at work and use Fedora at home and on my Workstation in work. I totally understand and support what RedHat are doing at the moment. I used to get fustrated by the SLOW release cycle of RHL, I love the 6-monthly cycle on Fedora. Basic patch support is still there for Legacy RH9 and FC1.
I don't understand why people are so upset???
Now, if they would just put more emphasis on KDE i'd be even happier!
I met this guy at Cebit last year - and he certainly seemed VERY pleased with himself. He was going on about how the player used "2 million lines of code". I wonder how many of those 2 million came from the MPlayer CVS server?

In my experience most people who do [Microsoft] certifications are motivated by:
a) Being new to the business and want to climb the pay-scale as fast as possible.
or
b) Having some kind of threat, like redundancy hanging over them, or maybe they hate their current job.
In the UK, employers are summarily asking for MCSE's - even for fairly simple work. It's a product of a deflated market. I felt I had to get it to get another job more easily. I do feel uneasy that my certificates have uncle Bill's signature on them!
I also have some Cisco certifications, these are much more real-world orientated than the Microsoft ones.
I really want to take the RHCE (to get the full set, so-to-speak), but I can't afford the 500 to take it. The RHCE is almost all lab-based - which in my opinion makes them trustworthy (but also expensive to take!).

Dont forget to checkout the OpenOffice themes!

I really like OpenOffice but gawd it's ugly! If your running it under *nix make sure you check out the Toolbar themes addon.
You can replace the normal toolbar icons with ones to match your desktop environment, but pretty-much any of the included ones are FAR better than the OOo ones. Please, someone at OO merge this into the main tree!!!
