Yep they were...I was there :-) Death Race was interesting...but got old after about 10 minutes.
Yep, with the Electronic Entertainment Expo happening following the concert, I can't think of a better way to spend some time in LA...if you have to do time in LA, that is.
Try Neverwinter Nights...lots of free mods that are very 'story' oriented...good for the whole family.
