..is one person to play/record each song at a good sample rate. rename the files and ID3v1/ID3v2 tags, and you're set.
you can still get good quality, and the copy protection basically becomes a non-factor since all you're are doing is recording the output and not the protection scheme itself
that is, unless they've found a way to prevent a person from playing on one piece of software/recording on another utilizing the same soundcard, on the same machine. have they?
While parts of Asia and Europe continue to grow, the US still holds a large consumer base. The companies that are outsourcing jobs depend largely on US-based companies and consumers to buy their products.
We're being told that they outsource jobs to save money and be more competitive. However, is this cost-savings ever passed on to the consumer? Personally, I haven't seen a drop in prices in the things I buy.
The companies that are taking jobs away from us all are the same companies asking us to buy their products?

^^ I just copy and pasted that from an ad I saw in our local paper just a few days ago. What really stinks, is that the company who posted it is *very* well known for producing quality hardware simulation software.
They thrive on business from those of us practicing for certification...yet they want to pay a CCNP $10/hour?
Ok, maybe the job wouldn't require a ton of hands on or heavy networking, but still. You want a CCNP at A+ wages.
I'm disgusted. I could make more in a call center. Bah!
Only in America can businesses violate privacy, conduct "business" with little or no regard for the consumer, and still be considered legit by a select few.
I disagree. If we could expect these people to respect our privacy, or not buy/sell our email addresses, then no legal decision would have been necessary.
The fact is, they might have been operating within the confines of the law, but they have absolutely noones best interest in mind except their own. They simply don't care if they fill up your inbox, or if a kid gets porn in his mail box.
As often as an ISP might block a spammers IP, the spammer simply spoofs an address or uses an anonymous service. If they are so legit, and are actually concerned about the wishes of the consumer, why do they try to hide their tracks? Why do unsubscribe links not work? Why do unsubscribe links mark your address as "working"?
Aside from changing email addresses, how successful can we really be at stopping it ourselves?
