Yes well TED would be great unless you bought a 1001 which they have excluded from compatibility with Google Power Meter. I am not sure why since it has a USB port and it would just take some software on a host to sync the data with Google, instead I have to buy their NEW and improved version to use decent software with it. No Mac support, their Footprints software is dated and slow, and their driver BSODs Windows 7 every 24 hours.
You are an idiot, propylene glycol is the SAFE version of anti-freeze, it is also used in nebulizers and is the oral suspension in children's medicines. What is used in e-cigarettes is almost always made by a chinese company named Dekang and they will gladly give you toxicology studies conducted in several countries including the US by the FDA!
The only questionable contents was trace amounts of carcinogens left over from the nicotine extraction process, the trace amounts are the same as those found in most nicotine replacement products such as the patch or gum. An example was 5 parts per million versus a regular cigarette which contains 1000-1500 parts per millions.
It would be nice if we could live in a world based on facts instead of rumor and here-say.
If you need to host several domains, I use Dreamhost:
They dont just slice up servers and run the entire LAMP stack on them, they use clusters for their file storage and their MySQL servers.
For $9-11/mo (depending on how much you prepay) you can host as many domains as you want under a SINGLE account
They have their own control panel that works very well, I like it better than cPanel or Plesk.
They constantly update their features and give you plenty of bang for your buck with friendly support.
You can upgrade to Dreamhost PS which lets you scale your processor and memory dynamically whenever you want.
As for Application hosting, I am currently switching to Linode, my old VPS was slow, had bad support, very limited features. Linode is like a breath of fresh air, it's very affordable, scalable, and the management tools they offer are simple to use but very robust. I am very angry that I didn't choose them years ago.
Both these companies seem to live and breath Linux and Internet, They both give you the feeling that their staff truly enjoys running and maintaining their respective networks. Before choosing Linode, be sure you know what you are doing and plan to maintain and upgrade the server yourself, otherwise use Dreamhost.
This argument is getting old, I am sick of people criticizing a platform that they have never tried to integrate into a business network.
I support all three major platforms Windows, Linux and Macintosh. I am sorry but the amount of money, time and effort spent on securing, backing up, and deploying a Windows based network as masochistic at best.
Your "average" PC user in most corporate environments is one step above a complete computer moron. They lie on their resume about their computer experience and are lucky if they can even check their own email. A $300-400 copy of Office is a complete waste of time for most users since the most they use it for is a typewriter with spell check.
I believe the best solution for most of "corporate america" is the following:
Workstations:
Apple by far makes the best user-centric OS on the planet, reliable, stable, virus free (right now), and very secure. These machines can be abused by users and they still keep ticking. These can be had for as little as $599 (refurb eMac) so don't tell me it's twice as much as a PC.
File & Print Servers
Linux (SMB,POP,CUPS) stable, set it and forget it!
Mac (MacOSX Server) OpenDirectory, great Admin
Windows Terminal Services
For any Win32 only apps still needed.
(Microsoft Remote Desktop on Mac OS X is awesome)
