Like someone else said, changing the HD size will affect the price, so it doesn't make sense that changing the OS wouldn't. Especially if it is the same price for WinNT or Win95. For some reason i thought NT was more expensive. Also, if i really wanted a computer WITHOUT an HD, i should (and probably could) get one. After all, i might just have a 10gb lying around...
Hopefully Wine development will pick up the pace. I'm personnaly very impressed with Wine, i can run my DirectX 6 Glide win95 game on linux. Very cool. Hopefully Wine will be the bridge that lets me delete win95 for good!
No, but putting bans and restrictions on free speech is.

Um, did you miss the whole part saying that kids that were supervised by their parents had no problems? the problem isn't the media, the problem is that parents are lazy and want everyone else to raise their kids. Thats the problem.
For some people that is true. I started using linux b/c i liked unix alot when i first started using it at school. It seems like a great devel platform. Then i found out i could have unix at home (aka linux). Cool i thought. Then i started liking it more as i started liking less M$'s dictating to me what i can use on my own pc. Don't mind having win95 as an os, but i don't want all that other $hit that comes with it. I like linux b/c i do dislike ms, but its not the only reason. I like how customizable it is, how good a dev platform it is, how well it handles things, etc. I want to get away from ms b/c i like choice, and i like having control of my computer. And being a college student, i am naturally attracted to most anything free:)
While pirating the movie may go a bit too far, making scene or writing and complaining to the theather is a good weapon. Everyone that said 'someone thats 9 shouldn't be going anyway', bite me. To think that a MOVIE could harm a child is rediculous. I'm tired of my rights being striped away under the illision that they are protecting children. THATS THE PARENTS JOB!! How about everyone start taking responsibilty for themselves and teach thier kids the proper values. Movies aren't what inspired the Colorado tradgity. It was the parents for not being more involved, and the kids at the school for outcasting them.
