  1. 360 Defects? on Microsoft Owns Up To 360 Defects · · Score: 2, Funny

This is Slashdot, right? There are a lot more than 360 defects with Microsoft. "Dear aunt, let's set so double the killer delete select all" doesn't happen by itself.

  2. As a customer of Softbank BB... on Microsoft Teams Up With Japanese VoIP Carrier · · Score: 1

I'd like to know what Microsoft will bring to the table. I have been using Softbank's broadband service for over two years now, quite happily calling people at awful times due to the time changes between Japan and America. What does this change for me?

I'm imagining that the Microsoft logo will now appear on my bills. I should hope they don't mess with anything else. Not that I'd know, what with the billing statement being in backwards-Matrix characters.

  3. Young Luke Skywalker? on Star Wars 3D And TV · · Score: 1

Instead of turning perfectly good actors like Ewan McGregor and Liam Neeson into convincing CPR resuscitation dummies ("Annie, Annie, are you okay?"), Star Wars is going for the rich acting experience that children provide.

I was hoping the television show would at least have a Dawson's Creek vibe. That is the only other young Skywalker I can see. Wasn't he fifteen or so in Star Wars, anyway?

    Someone call 911!

  4. I guess this means... on Dutch Pass iPod Tax · · Score: 1

the iPod Shuffle should be getting pretty popular from now on, huh?

Not that I like this tax, but a few Euros is a lot better than a few hundred, right?

  5. Re:Boycott Episode III - The Only Sensible Action on Star Wars Episode 3 PG-13? · · Score: 1

Boycott for at least a month? I'm right behind you. In fact, I think I'll wait until July when the damn movie comes out in my country.

Sure, this isn't a list of every country in the world, but Japan certainly sticks out like a sore thumb with its two month delay. I suppose this is where the phrase insensitive clod would be thrown about. Eh, what do I know?

  6. Re:This trend is already over on Does Redskins Loss Presage A Kerry Win? · · Score: 1

This string of predictions refers to the last home game for the Redskins before the general election. While the Redskins did lose to the Bills days before the election, that game took place in Buffalo.

A week earlier, Washington played and defeated the Indianapolis Colts, 31 - 16. See snopes.com for more information.
