  1. Re:Why does it matter if they come to class? on Podcasts of University Lectures? · · Score: 1

Not only would it be cool, But say for instance i wanted to brush up on my java skills, or similar. I could refer to the university pod casts on the subject.
In IT were qualifications are meaning less and less, This would certainly provide a great option for staying diverse in the field.

However, This could potentually, cost the university a lot of money. Less enrolments etc.
If i were doing it, Id probably zip it and put a password on it, giving out the password for the podcast at the lecture or .htaccess it.
Sure wont stop redistrobution, But it doesnt stop people talking to the next person about it. Or someone else recording it and distrobuting it anyway.
At least with some kind of access restriction, you would be doing the "Right Thing (tm)".

  4. Give up your Phone! on Cell Phone Is The Most Hated Invention · · Score: 1

God that mobile is annoying, Im on call most of the time, and being caught in the middle of some intimate situation is the worst. hehe.
But my boss gets a good laugh, the prick. heh

Anyway, Ill tell him im abandoning the cell phone, he will now have to send smoke signals to contact me. Or send a pigon, but tape the note to him.

I say we go back to smoke signals, Who is with me? lol

  5. Mice in Space? on Mice In Space · · Score: 1

How about instead of sending the mice, we send the students, put them in a little box, and feed them vegiterian for the mission.
Then we analise the ability for the students not to electicute themselfs in the maze at low gravity.
This would be far more insightfull. lol

On a Serious note, Good to see more Australian companys getting involved with the space programs. Will be good when we have maned missions of our own.
