You can get a dedicated satellite for 30 000$ CAD.

I don't think I'd be able to buy a dedicated satellite with a 30K resistor.

Indeed. If everything (mostly) works tomorrow, it'll be an exact copy of the iPhone launch! ... but in only one country, without months of publicity before the launch and with the general public not even aware of its existence.

Come to think of it, I'd guess that only U.S. geeks are aware of this "OpenMoko" phone.

I want FF XI on both my Nintendo DS and Wii. :p

It could be done for Wii with an external USB hard drive and USB keyboards are supported since the last firmware or so. If FF XI can run on the PS2 then surely it can run on the Wii. But that game is too old, so no luck there.

As for FF XI on the DS... Yeah now I'm just dreaming.

Is it true that FF XI (Windows) is more CPU-bound than GPU-bound? Anyone running FF XI on a Core 2 Duo with GMA 950 or similar? I'd like to build a mini-ITX system so I can dump that noisy Athlon XP/Radeon 9600XT wind generator.
