I work at a computer camp (www.internaldrive.com). I've been an instructor for 2 years and will currently be working at our latest creation, the Gaming Academy. We have courses for kids aged 7-17 ranging from Digital Video classes to Game Modding. While it's a bit expensive (I wouldn't have been able to go as a kid), if you have the extra money I know the kids usually love it.
I know this sounds like an advertisement, but I'm low enough in the company that it doesn't really benefit me to bring exposure. I just work there because I love it and would have loved it as a kid, so I'm just pointing it out for those who might not be aware that such a thing exists.
Well Slashdot, apparently. It's interesting that this is news simply because (*GASP*) someone says something even remotely negative about the White Knight of Linux.
While the moon might be a decent staging area, stuff to launch still has to get there from Earth's gravity well before it goes.
Part of the point of research was to determine whether the fuel could be manufactured on the moon. All that is necessary then is getting the vehicle parts to the moon. As for water, Dasani has agreed to construct a bottling facility - after all, astronauts more than others need the cleanest, freshest water available - all from natural springs and without mineral additives.

Who cares about Linus anymore

I've got that bug, but only on my 386DX - my 2.0ghz Athlon's fine.
