Copyright was intended to encourage creation?! Where did that come from? Copyright was intended to ensure profits to copyrights owners by limiting the use of creations.
Or are you referring to the common capitalist dogma that nobody would create anyhting (or would even move his little finger) if he/she wouldn't get paid for it?
