Yep, it still is on top when you look at the (Distrowatch default) 6-month-span. Both the 3 and 1 month views show Ubuntu at the top.
And as one who just installed Mandrake 10.1 and Ubuntu (Warty and Hoary) I can understand why Ubuntu is flying away. Great distro.
