ahm. we have a winner? This thing seems really hoax-ish to me, I dont know about flouresces and the layers bit, but just in general something like this seems reeeeeally weird. The only thing that I could use this for is making extremely large video and graphics things, along the lines of 8000x6000:)) and making a helluva lot of music, but then you think of burning 140 gigs of data, at transfer speeds of about 200mb/s (along the logic of anonymous shepard) and you get 11 minutes? Why does this seem ODD. I dunno maybe its just me, but the burner is gonna cost a SH*TLOAD like DVDRAMs were estimated at a few years ago multiplied by fifty.. this might be useful for large companies who make backups of all their computers (and the entire hypertext part of the internet:) )

We were throwing around ideas and my friend said that some vending machines can tell you, when fingered, how much of what kind of stuff they have left in them. I dunno maybe its just me, but the burner is gonna cost a SH*TLOAD like DVDRAMs were estimated at a few years ago multiplied by fifty.. this might be useful for large companies who make backups of all their computers (and the entire hypertext part of the internet :) )
Weeeell these might be considered illegal in some way but I have the preview movies of Final Fantasy 9,10, and 11. They rock. I believe they are for dreamcast, because that is what the game shows.. uhm ok. Some guy took a camcorder into a DC Final Fantasy closed doors deal and taped this little presentation, its awesome. Its really not a big deal, once you realize whats going on. The government or some sick branch of it, and it may not be *our* government, is listening to you. No biggie, think of the billions of calls per second they have to filter out. There is no safe means of communication anymore. Say youre a noctorious international druglord. You whip out your cell, thinking (movie style) you have 30 seconds of talk time before they can trace you. Wrong. Takes as long as it does for your cell phone to reach the nearest tower, which is really, REALLY fast. You decide to forget the cell phone, and you pull out your CB. You realize, "oh gee! thats being monitored too!" Depending on your location, there is someone listening to you on your CB. You drop that too. Theres always people listening, relentlessly, hoping to hear the squawk of a radio/satellite device attempting to open a channel of commnunication. Fuck em! Its too late to fight. Echelon was implemented a helluva long time ago, all over the fscking world. Is it for our safety, or for our demise? Ah who cares.

Well whoopdy doo. I wasnt surprised, the RIAA has grown a "wee" bit power hungry. They cant do ANYTHING to mp3.com, they dont know what the hell theyre talking about. I can *guarantee* the next step for RIAA is suing CDDB. "Well gee, they have a database of all our artists and song tracks! This must mean theyre stealing our money! OUR PRECIOUS MONEY! NOOOOO!" Some other predictions: suing slashdot for posting stories about this, suing every company (inc sony) that sells mp3 players, attempting to ban mp3 players, attempting to ban every mp3 encoder out there, raising the prices of cd's to 50$, and end up the laughing stock of the nation. What are they thinking?

NO BIG DEAL. Wow, he had some NAMs. I have 2 NAM programmers in my house. Does that make me a national "hax0r" hero? No! Do I "clone" cell phones? No, because Im smart and obey the law. When someone gets caught for something, you know theyre gonna get punished, etc. So he got a few extra years, maybe the cops/feds did have it in for him. What the real injustice is was the infamous gH raids :( All my buds got raided, AND VALUABLE EQUIPMENT WAS TAKEN, and NOT RETURNED, for no crime. Wow, so what, whitehouse.gov. Its not like they hopped the fence at 1600 Colonial Lane, they found some random hole and used it. It could happen to any site, at any time. When the SSH hole was found, me and my friends took down the boxes that we hosted at school for security reasons.. things like that are a good thing. Ok! At a recent geek convention (or just a bunch of us hanging out) someone brought up appliances and home automation. Somehow someone brought up x10 or something, and we got to internet machines. We were throwing around ideas and my friend said that some vending machines can tell you, when fingered, how much of what kind of stuff they have left in them. I would pay a trillion dollars to have a vending machine that would do this. REALLY! I HAVE A TRILLION DOLLARS!
