I've only recently had the opportunity to use an AMD based computer, and thought that it was great. I love the 64 bit, and that has led me to looking for a laptop based on their 64b processor. The problem is that no one has any. I've found about 5 companies that sell them, which leads me to wonder... I read on/. all the time about AMD vs. Intel, but in the real world, there simply doesn't seem to be any real competition, with the exception of gamers/hardware "nerds". (of which I am one)
Is AMD really making a dent in the Intel market, or am I just missing a major shift in the market?
The first thing that you should try is some Basil. True, it is not a veggie or a fruit, but it is an amazing plant that is great to start a window-box-ish type work project. Start with one of the smaller leaf varities (which should grow very quickly in direct sun... try 'small leaf greek') and see if it's for you, and then you can move onto one of the larger leaf varities (opal or italian large). I've had many co-workers enter my office and comment on how nice the smell is.
I've never found myself very interested in any video/computer games, and yet, this one drew me in so that I would spend off hours playing it across NASA networks.
A great game... I very much hope that this release will rekindle this game's following.
I am going to download and install this version (when my 200h bittorrent dl is finished), but hope that it is more functional than the 10.1 community.
I ended up having many problems with it, including inablilty to install NVIDIA drivers. Seems to me that they are falling behind other distros.
We've got this 30something year old virgin who storms around the store floor angirly day in and day out. He gets pissed at everything... from having to do work, to eating lunch.
One day, he is actually in a good mood, and we're arguing with a customer in the back. The customer is old, cane and all, and proceeds to walk up front. Angry Bald Virgin walks out behind him, without any idea whats going on. The old guy turns around and says "you following me??" and leaves the store. Angry Bald Virgin proceeds to grab the bat from behind the front counter, and walk into the parking lot following the guy with the cane... because that's the only kinda guy he could win a fight against.
Everyone needs Angry Bald Virgin to work with them... his antics make the day fly by.
I downloaded it once, and installed it on 23 individual computers.... and I'm sure that I'm not alone. A few people like me and it will more than balance the scales with people who downloaded it twice for home/work.
22 Computers, and aside from the annoying icon in the system tray that is always complaining, nothing bad yet.
It does, also, take away the indication when loading if you are using XP pro or XP home.
Good way of making sure that I'm not going to try it.... scares me to death. Could have saved me a considerable amount of time downloading the thing....

I know that a TeX combo can do it, but where is a graphical interface?
