Migrating birds in the Caribbean are mostly observed around 10,000 feet, although some are found half and some twice that high. Generally long-distance migrants seem to start out at about 5,000 feet and then progressively climb to around 20,000 feet... Perhaps the most impressive altitude record is that of a flock of Whooper Swans which was seen on radar arriving over Northern Ireland on migration and was visually identified by an airline pilot at 29,000 feet.
Who cares. It's a direct line of sight issue, and unless we all start wearing beanies with IR antennas on top of them, it will never be a good solution.
A "large" unemployment problem? You're pretty ignorant there..25M added to 11.3M unemployed would not be a 'large' problem. It would be a 2% change. It wouldn't reduce tax revenue, it would vastly decrease tax spending.
If you think that the government makes as much off taxing military personnel as they spend on them, you're so far down the rabbit hole, there's no hope for you.
Guess what, dipshit. Spending half a trillion, instead of a whole trillion, more than you're bringing in still isn't a good idea.
And guess what, cutting 80% of the military budget, would bring the deficit to about zero. There's about 175k military personnel deployed outside the US. Probably half that many more as contractors. None of whom are actually protecting the US.

And if PETA complains, the military aims the cannon at them!
Grain of salt.
I meant JATO.
As in this:

But it could be a lubricant for the fault, making those thousands of pounds, or even just the weight of the earth itself, cause the earthquakes.
Unless it has a JTOL on its roof.
So, that's a no?
Who cares. It's a direct line of sight issue, and unless we all start wearing beanies with IR antennas on top of them, it will never be a good solution.
Well, that will solve everything then!
Yep, but they wouldn't do it for a huge pay cut.
Is there an IE for non-Microsoft phones? Or do they just not buy anything from their phones/tablets?

Yeah, at 400 baud.

talented in-house labor is expensive. Otherwise, it doesn't stay in-house. Those ARE the rewards down the road.
It needs to be cut by more than half to get rid of the budget deficit.
Stop being the world's police should allow cuts of ~80%.
I don't think you're counting the $1-200k salary of that in-house labor.
SAP can easily run organizations an order of magnitude bigger
I lost it at easily.
I think you meant Cosmonaut.
And there should be voting on issues
LOL, are you drunk?
They simply blew it.

-1 for consistency.
10,000,000 accidents per year in the US alone.

I can just see the headlines. "Self driving cars cause hundreds of thousands of accidents per year!"
Even though that'd be ~1% of what humans do.
I'd be happy with a car OS that kills less than 30,000 people per year.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_motor_vehicle_deaths_in_U.S._by_year
Or even less than 10 million accidents a year.

Also, lots of infrastructure companies. Compellant, Equallogic, etc.
Usable. If you like two interfaces to do one thing.
It's also just fugly.
