Will it cast to a miracast supported device like a Roku or only to a chromecast supported device? My Nexus 6P will only cast to the latter when it comes out of the box. You have to root the phone to restore the miracast functionality.
The author did not add much if anything to what is already known about the prototype. A more interesting article would have included some discussion about the way that Superpedestrian reneged on its promise to deliver the Copenhagen Wheel to early adopters like me who pre-ordered it last Christmas. Initial deliveries were supposed to take place in the spring but apparently somebody decided that they should ramp up (and manufacture overseas?) a larger quantity, delaying deliveries until sometime "before the end of 2014." Since May 1st, there has been no communication from Superpedestrian about when actual delivery will occur and pretty much the back of its hand with respect to those of us who paid $750.00 hoping to be a little more involved with the rollout. The author might also have spent some time talking to the bike dealers who want to sell (and service) the Copenhagen Wheel but who have been told by Superpedestrian that it can handle sales and service without any middlemen.
An interesting way for Governor Perry's road building buddies to market their product: "Hey all you pickup truck driving drugstore cowboys with more horsepower than sense. Quien es mas macho? Find out and the highway patrol and your nearest county hospital will clean up the mess, all at public expense."
Privatize the roads/socialize the costs: that sadly is Texas today.
Do you see any merit in the "dense plasma focus" approach to commercial fusion power production, specifically the work of the Lawrenceville Plasma Physics group?
Test launch of the "Coyote" anti-missile missile? Rail launched RAM jet with some kind of booster to help get it up to ramjet speeds.
From San Nicolas Island.
All seems to fit though you would expect the military to announce the test in advance so that planes stay out of the way
Link is to an environmental permit application for launches from San Nicolas Island.

Ah, the a-biogenic theory of hydrocarbons raises its ugly head again. Chief proponent was Professor Thomas Gold (Cornell but r.i.p.). Pretty much discredited but check out research of Dr. Roger Anderson of LDEO and Larry Cathles at Cornell. they got a DOE grant to drill offshore at EI 330 Field to explore for deeper "plumbing" that might be recharging that 1 billion BOE deposit. No joy however.
I will sleep better tonight knowing that both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the White House are watching the Obama campaign's computer networks carefully enough to detect third party intrusions. I'm sure neither of them would actually look inside the network to find out what the campaign is thinking.
SALT is based on a telescope designed and built for a consortium of universities, led by the University of Texas at Austin and Penn State. The telescope, called the HET, is located on top of Mt. Fowlkes in far West Texas. The cost of the HET without instrumentation was about $16MM.
"free" is not exactly what I would call a service that will cost $15 per day. The free part is just a teaser for the first three months that the service is offered in the parks, probably a way to attract customers.
I have lived in Texas most of my life and am consistently disappointed with the stewardship of our parks by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Undoubtedly a friend of Governor Perry persuaded him to open up the parks to this quick buck opportunity. Too bad it wasn't done right as a public service offered by the state as part of the the admission price. Of course, I do wonder about all those aerials in some of the larger parks.
