I know they're saying that it's not available for the general consumer, but in line with this recent discussion I think it'd make a perfect PDA. It's smaller than most laptops, but has more functionality than most PDA's. Naturally if size is a true concern for you it may not work (probably can't slip this in a pocket), but I'd buy one in a heartbeat. I saw a guy/site the other day that's trying to get them to charge $300 for a consumer, the consumer gets one and two kids somewhere in the world get one for free. I'd even do that (although with the price creep on the laptop itself I'd be more inclined to pay for 2 instead of 3).
...will probably not have a problem meeting or beating this record when it hits the streets. Its got a 255hp V6 that gets 37/29 mpg (highway/city).

...and their Java implementation? Seems as though they have a pretty tight relationship with Sun and are able to include their own version of Java in OS X without any problems.

Interesting... The 2005 Pilots and Odysseys got upgraded to a 255hp this year, I assumed it was the same engine in the Accord...
Actually its better than that, Honda upgraded their big v6 to a 255hp...

VMWare is available with an educational discount, can't remember what I paid for it a while back, but it was considerably cheaper than the list...

You mean like the Exchange connectivity that comes with Apple's Mail?
