I'm far from an expert on microwave ovens, but I would hazard a guess that the dinner plate setting is for heating the china plate on which you will be placing the collard greens and steak.
There is a reference rate which is "based on a regular daily concertation procedure between central banks across Europe and worldwide". That's what I used when I was earning GBP and paying income tax in EUR.
Java has had an integrated Rhino fork for 6 years. I presume the aim with this new engine is to improve the experience for people who are already using it more than to attract people away from existing standalone JS engines.
Plenty of places don't get as much rain as they could use. In my city it rains a lot but it's quite concentrated in spring and autumn: we can easily go for 4 months over the summer without any rain but with temperatures above 30C and humidity of about 70%. If this technology can condense water cheaply then farmers (and golf course owners) would probably be quite keen on it. Whether the long-term consequences would make people curse them for using it is another question, of course...
And the accountants to ensure taxes are filed in time and correctly.
Are you sure that's the major role of the accountants in big labels? I thought their role was more to ensure that there were no profits, so there's no tax to pay. And nothing left to pay the musicians either.
Specifically, it's appears to be a design patent for the shape made by the page as it turns. I really don't see that that level of design detail is deserving of protection, but you're right that it's not newsworthy.
Somehow I struggle to believe that there is any (geographical*) population which has Bitcoin anywhere near as deeply embedded in it as the social consumption of alcohol is embedded into just about every non-Muslim population.
* Pre-empting pedants who might consider "Bitcoin users" a population.
... they had introduce the strange "yield" keyword to help alleviate the issues caused by this feature.
Or, from a different perspective, they reintroduced a concept (coroutines) that BCPL had but C dropped, forcing people to use obscure hacks. What that has to do with properties, I don't know.
I think you're confusing the Attorney General with the Governor General.
The appropriate gender has been analysed before.
Is that a metric several or an imperial several?
Notice that the only metric unit referenced in this usual measure of mass is the volt; no kilograms or units derived from kilograms
Apart from the only one in there: in base S.I. units 1V = 1kg m^2 A^-1 s^-3.
Add to this paper measurement, letter being 8,5x11 inches in north america but 15cm x 30 cm in Europe.
Really? At least 90% of the letters I receive are A4, which is 29,7cm x 21cm. I don't know any European paper format that has an aspect ratio of 2.

What's to stop Visa and Mastercard from refusing to process payments to this new foundation?
WHY do people have to be at lectures they don't need, again?
Someone has to sit in the front row and correct the lecturer's mistakes...
They went to the Moon with less!

That sounds quite interesting - more interesting than showing it on a normal screen, at least...
200 generations, not 200 years. The difference is a factor of 20 or so.

Zynga does.

More to the point, since when has the US Supreme Court had jurisdiction over the EU?

Pumping out getters and setters can also be avoided by writing object-oriented code. They're a code smell which warns of a lack of encapsulation.
The GPP was hidden, so I had to display it to see whether it was talking about Emacs or Slashdot.

And the others...while there are libel laws in the UK I can't trust myself to write about Campbell or Mandelson.
Opinion, m'lud. You can learn a lot about libel from watching Have I Got News For You and taking notes on Ian Hislop's comments.
Which reminds me that the new series started last Friday, and I still haven't watched it. So thanks for that reminder!
And the trans-Atlantic equivalent, CBeebies.
So you grew up using Windows, did you? I think it was about the 5th OS I used, but that hasn't stopped me from being able to use it.
