    I think what he was saying is that when compared to non-interactive media, video games are much more likely to be abused. People who don't derive joy from them may not understand that, but that fact does not make them less addictive than passive media. The other concern here (porn) is also, in a way, interactive media. I think that helps prove the point. There may be a large portions of the population that get no joy from video games, and there are plenty who don't like alcohol, tobacco, or cocaine. That does not make them less addicting.

    I disagree, I don't think judges like it when the legislature tells the courts what to do. Sometimes 'my branch vs. your branch' trumps political affiliation.

    I agree. I just wish the publishers would pass along the savings to the consumer. If they are gaining revenue from product placement, and we are getting advertised at, then that should affect the price of the game. Make a $50 title a $35 title at release. Wouldn't more people buy the title that way? And wouldn't that get more bang for the advertiser's buck? Why aren't the advertisers pushing for that?
