I think what he was saying is that when compared to non-interactive media, video games are much more likely to be abused. People who don't derive joy from them may not understand that, but that fact does not make them less addictive than passive media. The other concern here (porn) is also, in a way, interactive media. I think that helps prove the point.
There may be a large portions of the population that get no joy from video games, and there are plenty who don't like alcohol, tobacco, or cocaine. That does not make them less addicting.
I disagree, I don't think judges like it when the legislature tells the courts what to do. Sometimes 'my branch vs. your branch' trumps political affiliation.
That's pretty cool that non-goole page that comes up when you search for google is the wikipedia page for google?
That's probably why you weren't modded off-topic.
And its even more sad when a person commenting on something being sad doesn't know the difference between "tripod" and "tricorder" If by 'sad' you mean 'fascinating', then I agree.
I agree. I just wish the publishers would pass along the savings to the consumer. If they are gaining revenue from product placement, and we are getting advertised at, then that should affect the price of the game. Make a $50 title a $35 title at release. Wouldn't more people buy the title that way? And wouldn't that get more bang for the advertiser's buck? Why aren't the advertisers pushing for that?
If you watch celebrity poker, you know Carrie Fisher is in no condition to do anything except down a bottle of vicatin.
Seeing her fat ass 'flop the nuts' crushed my childhood fantisies worse than Jar-Jar.
but why the Kool Aid reference?
Keeping on the current course would be more empty headed.
Almost had me till I realized what site that was...
Site licensing for the home user? *pause for sardonic laughter* Yea, right, that's going to happen about the time Ballmer gay marries Steve Jobs.
Would they throw chairs instead of rice at the wedding?
Are we still talking about AVG, or have we moved on to the Bush administration?
The article states Indium is used in LCD displays, but would it also be used in LED displays?
This won't last too long, you can't sell a .pdf for beer money in the middle of the semester... I mean the END of the semester.
