I've used the Canon LiDE 30, LiDE 35, LiDE 50 and LiDE 60, I keep passing off my last one to someone else at work who "needs" a scanner and I have the newest of the bunch...the software and drivers have gotten better under Windows.
I can't complain, the most I ever paid was $75. The LiDE 60 is even USB 2.0, the earlier ones were USB 1.1. All have power and connectivity in one cable.
It also is very light and portable.

9.1 was great but had wireless issues for me on an IBM T41p--hopefully this corrects those issues. The Live CD looked great too.
Even has Novell next to the SuSE logo now.
What does a search engine need with $3.3 billion other than $$$ for the board members?
I love google as much as anyone but I won't be buying their stock....unless it is in a mutual fund or stock index fund.....
I had Lasik done in December of 1999....I have 20/15 in one eye and 20/25 on the other. My wife had it done at the beginning of this year...got off the table with 20/15 in both eyes...no stars or blurring...it has gotten better since I had it. My father and step mother had Lasik over the last few years and have excellent vision as well....however I recommend on going to a good doctor not a chain store. If you are in my area (Southwest Ohio) I have some recommendations for you....just let me know.
I use myob@myob.com (Mind Your Own Business) or reallyfakename@reallyfakemail.com other similar ones...thanks for the tips regarding me@privacy.net and the other like services....

Fedora Core 3 RC has Gnome 2.8 but only has KDE 3.2
way cheaper to make a Tux sticker and put it on your keyboard and map your own keys.....or just use a ThinkPad like I do--no Windows key to look at.
