If you want to fit the film into one sitting, you need take advantage of films strengths: it is a visual medium.. drop some dialogue and tell the rest of the joke with the visual portion.

And that is exactly why it should NOT be attempted. Don't call it Lord of The Rings, and then leave out characters, give it some different name, and say it's 'inspired by the book'. If people are too lazy to read, let them just drive their 2mpg SUVs and eat supersized fastfood where even the paperbag is deepfried, but don't let the rest of us suffer from their ignorance.

The only well made filmatizations(is that even a word?) ever done, have been those of Shakespeares books, where the know-it-all wannabe script writer haven't altered the dialogue.

The scene from Romeo + Juliet(the one with DeCaprio) where Brian Dennehy asks for his 'longsword' and it's a friggin shotgun, cracks me up every time.
Now that's telling the joke with the visual portion

Comment spam may only be one or two comments on a +100 comment board, so there will still be a good signal-to-noise ratio. But googlebot combines ALOT of comment boards, so even though there is alot of comments, the signal-to-noise ratio will stink. In other words, you can sort out the spam when reading a board, but googlebot combines all the spam.

LD50 for rats is 192ppm when taken orally. As far as I know no studies has been done on human subjects, so this is the number I'll go with. An above average cup of coffee has about 670ppm caffeine.
Say a person weighs in at 80kg, lethal dosis will be about 15g (80kg*192*10^-6ppm = .01536). A cup of coffee is about .3kg so it will contain about 200mg (.3kg*670*10^-6 = 2.01*10^-4). So drinking about 75cups (15/.2 =75) will kill every second time you try :-)... of course that's drinking it all at once, which is imposible since that would be 22.5L (75*.3 =22.5), and your stomach shouldn't be able to contain it.
Drinking 100cups over a period of 24hours, is probably impossible(it is NOT a dare, so don't sue if you actually do it and die!). There is the matter of blatter containing abilities. But you'll probably start womiting or go into shock way before dieing.
