The so called 'Third World' citizens are not illiterates and can definitely think for themselves.
So if M$ donates software it is fine by us but we dont intend buying/paying for sub-standard products..('Donations' under the guise of AIDS programs will remain just that !!:-))
If M$ takes the trouble to kindly visit *any* University in India they would realise that FSF is here to stay.
Afterall Indian s/w programmers are responsible for a *minor* contribution to the IT world !!

America is a land of Immigrants and we all know that Asians form the majority of the skill and knowledge pool and are major users too {2003 saw Billy boy in India "donating" to the AIDS cause when it was common knowledge that he was there to persuade the government agencies to use M$ products:-( }.
So cut the crap about fellow Ammericans losing jobs while living in this global village.
If SCO is really worried about American jobs it should stop (if it can) the outsourcing of work that major American firms indulge in. The bottom line is, if it saves them $$$$ they will go for it else cry that others are ingeneously making more money instead of giving it to them for free. Grow up !!
How different is a Geek from any other Geek in the developed Western countries minus the external appearance, gender differences and different accent ? Oh I almost forgot to add the $$$$$ per hour !!
