I spent 30 bucks on a retail package of Mandrake about 2 years ago, and I've never bought Windows. I think I bought MS-DOS once, though. Does that count?
Anyone remember the rumor about this game having a secret chocolate factory level? I saw it published in several different "Hints and Strategies" guides as a rumor only, but never learned if it was legit or not. Always wondered about that...
I'd have to agree here. The episode was just TOO cheesy not to be a parody, and quite frankyly I'd like to think that an episode written by William Gibson wouldn't be that terrible and actually be intended to be taken seriously. The amount of misused buzzwords alone points to this theory, not to mention the cliched costumes and scenery. If this is the case, it was ALMOST a decent episode.
Ofcourse, one must consider the fact that it's probably a greater achievment if they actually DID do it drunk. Hell, I don't think I could get past "Hello World!" after 6 beers!
