    There was a reactor in London until very recently: at the Royal naval College Not quite on the scale of Sellafield, but definitely radioactive.

    Key point: If launched. The user has to explicitly run the application to "infect" his phone and let it spread. Call me old fashioned, but that doesn't even count as a worm, let alone a virus.

    Are you going to carry around your own APN? There are two levels of filtering engaged here. One is a rating scheme for content provided by the Mobile Operators (or, more accurately, provided by their contracted third parties). That will decide what you can see by adding or removing the link tothe rated content to/from the operator's portal.

    The other is a NetNanny/SurfPatrol applied at the network level as a transparent proxy. That will apply no matter many web browsers you add to your mobile, or where you think the proxy is being set.
