In NC, at least (and probably elsewhere), the portable breathalyzer machines are not evidence of your guilt. They just provide the officer with unassailable probable cause for an arrest. Then you go downtown for a proper test on a proper machine, or you get a blood test if you prefer. Technically, most of the time they don't really need to give you a roadside test - the officer's perception of impairment is enough - but they do it anyway just so it's harder to argue against probable cause. I have no problem with this if it's used the same way.
A default judgement is awarded when a defendant fails to respond or show up in court. To vacate is to basically cancel the judgement and give the defendant another chance. I'm not a lawyer, but I believe that's the basic idea.
I've switched to using my computer's OS as just a shell for running VMWare. When I get a new computer, I stick the old HD in there with it. If I feel that the new HD is sufficiently faster, I'll transfer the image over; otherwise, I'll just double-click the image on the old HD and continue as before. No tweaking required.
I've used sneakemail, and it works pretty well. They limit the amount of bandwidth you can use with their free service, but it does actually work. In time it becomes a pain in the butt to go and create a new email address, so many times you'll find yourself saying "oh hell, I'll just use my yahoo account", but nothing is perfect.
Here's an idea that I can't believe it hasn't been done yet : create commercials that, in addition to the regular video ad, displays a banner ad at the top for the same product. I would be willing to bet that you would score MORE recognition with PVR owners just because they're paying strict attention.
I imagine the reason this hasn't been done yet is because either not enough people own PVRs, or nobody in the advertising industry is willing to stick their neck out and be the first to try something new.
I personally check my spam folder many times a day, so it's no big deal if I get a false positive from spamassassin. "But what's the point in a spam filter at all if you check it all the time", you ask? For me, the annoyance of spam is getting interrupted by the delicate chimes that announce your new mail, and then racing excitedly to your mail app only to discover that a HOT TEEN is waiting for YOU! I don't mind sorting my spam folder, so long as it's on my time and not interrupting something important. I usually do it anytime I get any legitimate mail, so it's rare that there's more than 1 or 2 emails in the folder. A false positive will usually just result in delaying me from reading someone's mail for a few hours.
If I got so much spam that this system became unwieldy, I would probably set up several spam folders corresponding to the spam level assigned by spamassassin. Anything between 2-5 would go in a folder that I check whenever I get a real email, because a false positive is almost guaranteed to be below 5. Anything over 5 is pretty much guaranteed to be legitimate spam, and I would check that every few days. I don't do this, however, because I simply don't get the 100+ spam emails a day that the./ editors claim.

I had the same problem until I downloaded a previous version of the install.js from cvs. Now it works just fine.
