Of course, the problem is that CSS positioning.... sucks. Not only that, but even if you manage to figure out the bizarre CSS positioning model, you have to deal with the "quirks" (a nice name for crappy standards support) of the various browsers. I've looked at doing strict XHTML compliant layouts. I like the idea. I really do. But quite frankly, I don't have the time to spend to figure out how to get each and every browser to play nice.
Why go to P2P? Allofmp3 and similar sites are much easier and won't attract the RIAA to you.
Granted, depending on where you live, it may or may not be legal. Maybe. But if you're looking at p2p as your only alternative to itunes, you're missing out.
Bad news about that. It's more that it's latin based then that it's french based.
For example, here's some Spanish comparison
copié = copia = copy de = de = of/from du = de = of/ of the par = por = per/through/via pour = para = for ou = o = or/also été = era = were sur = sobre = over Un = un = a qui = quien = who nous = nos = us - we to = tu = You vous = vos = You La = la = the ces't = es = it's (it/that is)
Sounds very impressive. Of course, so did the destructible terrain in Red Faction. So did the physics in Doom3. Problem was, they didn't really contribute much to gameplay.
Whether these cool physics actually make the game better or if they end up simply being another checkpoint on the list of features depends a lot on the game developers.
Now normally, I'd say "We'll just have to wait till it comes out to see" but since this is DNF we're talking about...
Who buys the albums of all these unknown, non-famous, not-rich musicians?
The people who already know about them AND go to their concerts, buy their T-Shirts, etc.
Who does NOT buy their albums? The majority of the public. Why would they? It costs at least $10 to buy their new CD and who wants to pay that for something you may not listen to ever again after a few days? Radio? ClearChannel has ensured that their music will never be heard by most people. But wait--if only there were a way people could listen to the music for free. or perhaps a low cost. Something like... $0.05 a song. Good unknown artists might become well liked because, "hey--it's only $0.05, of course I'll try out your recommendation". And then the artist can sell more tickets and t-shirts.
True this isn't a guaranteed thing, but I know from personal experience with a certain Russian site that I try out a LOT more music then I would otherwise.
You shouldn't assume you know how many cores there will be. Properly divide your various tasks and make them communicate together. Let the OS worry about which thread goes to which processor and how to schedule them.
I think you're right about having a shortage of people. Sadly, I am not one of them either.
Cus no one every copied a tape before that right?

Just set a filter to forward it to some other account. Like one of the huge 1GB gmail accounts. ;)
This is when having a white/brown/grey noise-producing computer is a PLUS.
Get a non-irritating fan noise going and it tends to "quiet" all other noise.
The downside is that you don't have the ability to pump the fans up for an especially CPU hungry task. :(
I personally went for the automatic fan controller (3 fan plugs + 3 temp probes) because I don't want to be bothered.
$30 wasn't that huge an investment.
There's a (full sized) PC case specially designed for this.
[goes looking]
Ahhh.. here it is.
You can of course, build quieter by using slower parts, but that may be too much of a trade-off for some people.
His environment ambient temperature may be higher.

Portuguese is also very similar.
Ain't it true?!
That's probably a perfect example of classical music with a huge range of quickly changing dynamics.

My tastes haven't been influenced much by p2p, allofmp3, streamed audio, whatever.
However, I HAVE discovered a LOT of new artists that I hadn't heard of before.
I've also been able to "try out" a lot of artists that were a "maybe" thing.
You're right. I should have posted this as a reply to a different post. :)
Whatever you do, don't try allofmp3. (You too replier below.) You may get addicted and wind up purchasing a lot of music from them.

piracy will never shrink. As long as it costs some form of money to purchase a song, there will be kiddies pirating it.
There's a difference between SHRINK and DISAPPEAR.
Other message was a simple raid 1 solution.
:)
This one is RAID 5.
I'm sure there are others.
Sort of like this?
Or were you looking for something to do RAID 5?
I see it being bundled onto graphics cards or perhaps motherboards.
I don't think too many will be sold as standalone cards.
Been wrong before.
That's why you don't give your users unlimited power.
Disable attachments.
Or have desktop firewall ALSO.
Or disable unknown programs.
OR etc etc etc.
So you'd pay $5 X 20 episodes = $100 per season for just one show?
You are insane.
Go down to the video rental store near you and rent last season's TV for $5. The entire season. You can do that 20 times for the price you want.
Or better yet, buy the entire season at the (ridiculous) price of $50.
Or just get a PVR and record the episodes, burn them to DVD, and spend $50/month for ALL the shows you want to record.
I assume you mean duAl-core brain. However, the idea of the separate halves dueling may also be appropriate.
