I don't see what your point is. The guy with a tumour needed medical treatments. Paranoid schizophrenics need medical treatment. In both cases, the violence can be predicted and hopefully prevented.

But compulsory treatment for the mentally ill most certainly has an impact on their freedom and rights. It is in fact a classic example of the greater common good overriding the individual's absolute freedom.

You can't prevent all violence, but that doesn't mean you can't try to prevent some of it.

The Economist. [economist.com] Very informative. Their politics are not hidden, and socially, they're definitely left of center. Financially, they're the "Voice of the Plutonomy."

You must be American. In the rest of the world "left of center" does not mean "a believer in rabid capitalism, but in an ironic t-shirt instead of a suit".

You can get much more, but only if we're talking about quantity and not quality. There's a difference between a nice photo of a woman in a nurse outfit taken in a studio and a photo of a naked drunken slut on a hotel bed.

Yeah, the latter is infinitely more erotic.

Anyone who prefers airbrushed women in pretty costumes to naked and available is probably a repressed homosexual.

That's a pretty odd argument. They don't give the print versions away for free, you know.

In case you haven't read any of the comments in this thread (or any other dealing with mobile phones) you can get external batteries for most phones, no modification required. I used to have a phone with a swappable battery, but I got an HTC and now find having the external one a lot more useful.

You basically get a slightly chunky protective back cover (which you'd probably have anyway) and a battery which easily doubles the length of time the phone lasts.
