I'm a bit fuzzy with the DS specs, but if Nintendo is going to provide free WiFi and the WiFi follows one of the 802.11 standards, how do they keep people without Nintendo DSes from accessing it with a laptop? Will the DS have some sort of special software-based key?
From the nintendo's site, in the ds specs:
Wireless Communication: IEEE 802.11 and Nintendo's proprietary format;
I see no reason why Windows Update should be done from within a web browser, with some javascript and ActiveX stuff thrown in the mix. Why, why is there not a standalone program to fetch the windows updates? But there is such program, If I remember correctly, Internet explorer or smthng...
