    I agree with you that it wasn't flamebait, but well thought out? It came across to me as naive in the extreme, at the simplest level where was there any analysis of the effect on the existing ecosystems?

    Not would allow, could allow. I believe Monsanto's current approach is GM crops that are sterile and highly resistant to the weed killer that goes with them. So next year you need to buy seed from them again because fuck all else will grow. Nothing quite like a captive market, eh?

    Rubbish, nothing in my first sentence implies that homosexuality is not a mental disorder because you are an idiot, it actually says you are an idiot for holding that belief.

    As to your second point, I'm heterosexual so I read 'you' as meaning

    So you see there was no red herring, rather your insistence on promoting your hand me down belief system to those around you lead me to the conclusion that you are an idiot.

    Homosexuality is not a mental disorder you idiot. I feel free to call you an idiot because you state,

    You don't sin by being a homosexual but by sleeping with men instead of women.

    That statement implies all heterosexual women are homosexual because they sleep with men. As I said in my previous response, 'don't be suprised if people treat you like an idiot'.

    It's not education, it's your opinion. The fact that you get your opinions from an internally inconsistent book which is a translation of a translation of a translation (etc, etc) of a 2000 year old work about someone who may or may not have existed in the form which the book describes will tend to undermine your arguments. That's not to say that you shouldn't be allowed to hold those opinions, just don't be suprised when people consider you to be an idiot.


    Ignoring for the moment the fact that many people don't consider someones chosen religion a good basis for deciding what is and isn't 'correct' behaviour, there is considerable evidence for a genetic component in homosexuality, where does that leave your claim of free will ?

    The BBC used actors for the voices of Gerry Adams et al because

    'On October 19 1988 Douglas Hurd introduced a notice under clause 13(4) of the BBC Licence and Agreement and section 29(3) of the Broadcasting Act 1981 prohibiting the broadcast of direct statements by representatives or supporters of eleven Irish political and military organisations.

    The BBC's solution to this piece of state censorship was to dub the video footage with voiceover actors. It made Thatcher's government look very silly so after a while they quietly let it drop.

    Then I suggest you Google for 'Stefan Kiszko', he spent 16 years in prison for the sexual murder of Lesley Ann Molseed. He suffered from XYY syndrome, an extra Y chromosome, this results in infertility. The semen found on Lesly's body contained sperm. Ooops, it wasn't him. Still think the death penalty is the only option?

    My wife only wears silver jewellery as she thinks gold is a 'thieves metal', wears mostly black, think a hippy goth cross style, doesn't like flowers as she gets hay fever, there's only one perfume she does like and it's not expensive and she insists on paying her half of everything.

    I LOVE that woman.

    Agreed, I don't think it was meant to be a troll either, I was pointing out that it could easily be taken for one. As for the dressing up in frocks bit, I take your point, I once won a prize at a fancy dress party for 'having the cheek to turn up dressed like that'. I was wearing a pink tutu, Doc Martens, a curly wig and three days worth of stubble.
