    It is a 2000 Mustang V6. There are lots of forums and most people who care about MPG say the drop is bad. I didn't realize there was a problem with E10 until I found a E0 station and my mileage shot up. I am trying to beat my summer E0 record of 3 tanks of 29 MPG. With mods and E10 the best I can do is 27

    In '99 Ford changed the intake manifold of the 3.8L resulting in a gain of 40 hp.

    The engine determines the MPG loss. Some engines actually gain with E20. My engine a Ford 3.8 L is a very old design and unfortunatly my losses are 10%. I have been working to modify my car so it meets E0 MPG with E10 but I have not gotten there yet.

    There is already that delay. Drivers tend to take forever to get going when the light turns green. I am usually to the other side of the intersection before most cars start moving.

    That is why I have to look both ways before going on green to avoid getting hit by runners. Where I live almost no one stops at stop signs anymore and most people drive right through right on red. Usually a few cars sneak through each red light at a busy intersection.

    It is possible that 911 was allowed to happen to spur the country to war. Gutting the Bill of Rights was just an added bonus.

    It is possible the same thing happened at Pearl Harbor. We will probably never know for sure what really happened prior to those events.

    That is comparable MPG with owner areo modified production cars and they have a place to put your tools and lunch. They also can be driven in the northern winter.

    Some nut jobs take the time to mix E85 and E10 to make E20. Since I have never seen a E85 pump I have never tried it.

    Yes these are small detuned engines. Using E20 I assume makes running at higher throttle plate opening possible which reduces pumping loses on the engine . Personally I would try a hot air intake first.

    It depends on you engine. Some vehicles get better mileage using E20, Mine has a 4% hit burning E10. My engine is a copy of an engine designed in the 60's so it is not surprising. Modern engines take a smaller hit from E10.

    I have the choice, it is 40 cents more a gallon and right now 35 miles out of my way. Unfortunately the 40 cents doesn't make up for the MPG increase in my car.

    I call it Daylight wasting time. I believe it should be reversed. Having a little daylight when home in the winter would be great rather than getting to and coming home in the dark.

    I think of it only for the rich. If someone has energy after work to use the extra daylight they are probably rich. I for one need to rest after work and have to block out the annoying sun.

    It is sad that almost no one fixes stuff any more. I can fix almost anything but even I bought a new dehumidifier because finding a freeze stat for my old one was going to be hard and I needed one soon.

    I will never find a job fixing things because no one wants that done. I still can fix my own vehicles and anything that breaks down. My lawn tractor is as old as I am (46). I fixed a free DSLR camera and used it for years. Everything is still fixable and some things are worth it if is was gotten free.

    My local drive in theatre just went digital. All the other local theatres closed for lack of funds to go digital and then reopened when the local population raised the funds to buy them projectors. I am assuming the same thing happened with the drive in.

    I have no problem driving 45 miles to see a movie, especially when it is in a leather reclining seat. Other people didn't like the drive and made sure their local theatre stayed open.

    This is not in a hugely populated area, but upstate NY.

    When people will not even imagine the possibility that what they believe could be wrong then I would call that a religion. I personally don't believe that dark matter exists, but that won't stop me from reading about it and studying the evidence if it is actually found and believing once I see the truth.

    I keep my mind open, not closed to possibilities I have never imagined.
