Sucks to be him, but.. these guys are PROTECTING our country. You think it's bad here, go live in Israel for a few years and see how you like it.
I personally wouldn't want to be inconvenienced in this way, but I'm damn sure glad people are paying attention to suspicious activity and if I do something that looks suspicious, and am accosted by law enforcement so they can check me out, I will cooperate in EVERY possible way. I am a citizen of this country and I for one am grateful these folks are on the job.. which is to protect the citizens of this country.
Blame?? All right, I can't sit on this any longer...
I am so sick of all this invective against these two movies (Reloaded, Revolutions).
If you people have the guts, talent and energy (do you know how HARD it is to make a single movie? Much less TWO at the same time? With all the chances they took on untried special effects techniques that they wouldn't know whether they'd look decent at all?) to PRODUCE YOUR OWN ORIGINAL MOVIE then do it and then I'd give your opinions half an ounce of credibility. If not then why don't you all just shut your holes.
So you didn't like the damn movies, fine. Be on your way. You don't have to waste all this Web space shitting all over them. I've seen a lot of shitty movies in my time but you don't see me writing VOLUMES telling everyone how shitty I thought they were.
At least the Wachowski brothers are out there CREATING and contributing something imaginative and original to the world. I feel sorry for them for having put SO much work into their movies and then have to listen/read all this bullshit about how badly they SUCK. Hopefully they know better than to give keyboard jockeys like you all the time of day much less take you the least bit seriously regarding whether or not you liked their movie!
That's because the majority if the right's beliefs have no basis in actual fact. The left however, while not flawless, is more based in fact than the right
Now that is a truly funny statement. Pass the Kool-Aid!
Apple did innovate the personal MP3 player because without Apple, the market would be totally different and a lot smaller. Before Apple, the Rio player was still "geek-tech" and its interface was no better than a pager's. Apple made MP3 players svelte, cool and very usable, and the attention the iPod has garnered to itself has effectively *created an industry* where before it was just a handful of products.
Apple did the same thing with PDAs. They weren't the first to create a pocket-sized (although some would argue about the Newton being "pocket sized") digital information organizer, but they WERE the first to do it well, and make it COOL. Whereas Casio for a long time had their "Digital Diary" line of products (and I owned one), Apple came along in 1992 and through brilliant engineering and marketing, took an idea, innovated, and created an industry around it. (Actually the Newton project started in 1990, and Sculley laid out his vision for the PDA in 1987, so 1992 is a tricky date.)
The same thing is happening here. Apple took a product that wasn't being done particularly well, thought about it, innovated and came up with something DIFFERENT and so much better. The competition still hasn't caught up.. iPod still rules the playground.
The makers of Independence Day made Godzilla too. After that epic disaster, this same filmmaking pair (Devlin/Emmerich) restored some of their credibility with Mel Gibson's "The Patriot" but you'll notice they weren't used as marketing carrots for moviegoers.
ID4 made lots of money and is considered by most to be a highly enjoyable popcorn movie. Godzilla was created with the same intent, audiences just didn't take to it.
I find it personally humorous, although unsurprising, that this movie is NOT being billed as created "by the makers of Godzilla."

Okay, so let's say it gets adopted worldwide and all computers now have DRM music with their own little identifying codes embedded. What's to stop a half-decent hacker from hacking your computer, copying all your music files and distributing them without your knowledge? The identification of the "source" computer is meaningless. Music files can be stolen as easily as they can be given away.

I love it.. dissing the worm's creator IN THE NEWS STORY. I'm sure whoever it is was happy to read that.

In a grocery store, a child can buy a pack of cigarettes with cash. How can a child buy pr0n online without a credit card? Explain this to me.
