Technically, only Iran may possibly have violated the non-proliferation treaty. Pakistan, India, and Israel never signed on to it so were perfectly within their rights to develop nukes. North Korea formally withdrew before testing their nuke, though they probably did violate the treaty prior to that withdrawal.
Iran is probably violating it, since they are a signatory, have not withdrawn, and almost certainly are developing a nuclear weapon.
So what if they signed some stupid ass piece of paper? When does the USA go by shit they sign? Not sure? Ask the Native Americans how well treaties has worked for them.
Iran has all the rights in the world to make Nukes. And everyone knows it. We don't want them to have it, because we want only the few that have it to keep having it. Sort of like how the Music Industry wants to hold on to it's monopoly.
Keep in mind, the only country to have used nukes against anyone else is the USA, so if anyone shouldn't be playing with nukes, it's us. We are fucking shitheads that have no problem hurting others and then telling others they can't protect themselves against us or our allies.
From my perspective, the USA is a big ass Bully that needs to get taken down to learn some humility, and maybe then start treating rest of the world a bit better.
"THE decision by the United States and Israel to develop and then deploy the Stuxnet computer worm against"
This hasnt been proven beyond reasonable doubt. Even though we all think US/Isreal are the curprits, all articles should start with an appropriate preface. This really needs to stop.
The problem i see is, no one is saying they haven't done it.
Where's the official statement saying that We didn't do it and would never do something like that.
The Geneva convention is routinely ignored, the US constitution is routinely ignored, any UN "declaration" is always ignored, etc. What good is another set of "regulations" that will be ignored?...
It's the USA new Motto: Do as I tell you, if not you are a terrorist.
From 2nd grade to 12th grade, my primary curriculum was based on the "PACE" system. The way PACE works is, each subject (math, science, etc) is broken down into individual sub-subjects called a "PACE." Each PACE has reading sections, exercises, and a final test, all of which cover a very specific topic. I clearly remember that my one of my PACE physics books (devoted to gases) used the second law of thermodynamics to "disprove" evolution. The "evidence against evolution" was even on the test at the end of the PACE. I also remember one of my early science PACE books covering the "hydrosphere" -- a sphere of frozen hydrogen which covered the Earth in ancient times -- which supposedly collapsed during Noah's flood. Despite some of these quirks, the PACE system was actually pretty solid. The explanations, questions, etc, were all very well structured. Honestly, looking at some of my niece's/nephew's course work in my local public school system, the PACE system was bread-and-butter by comparison.
I'm sorry to hear that. When I was in 3rd and 4th grade, i was sent to a private school that used the PACE system, and when I went back to a normal public school in 5th grade, I was behind rest the kids. I had to learn a bunch of stuff to catch up. It was fucked up, i could of been held back a grade, which would of been really bad.
In fact the only thing religious people have taught me, and they tried to teach me plenty in my growing up years, was that God isn't real, religions are fake, and man will try to get over on anything.
And almost 30 years later, I don't regret taking a stand against them and saying, No, you people are fucked up and I want no part of it. (I was 15 at the time).
These Christians really need to take a class in evolution.
Actually, "these Christians" are Fundamentalists. Being religious does not automatically make you dangerous until you cross the line and require people to believe what you believe.
I disagree. The fact that your mind believes in a religion is dangerous to people around you, and any offspring you may have. If the belief spreads, it's going to cause trouble, like it always does. Why is that? Because the weak minded takes things it believes to far just so it can prove to itself that it really believes it.
People want to feel important, and unfortunetly for the stupid and weak minded, that makes religion that more important. Why? Because generally the strong minded and intelligent don't believe in the religion, or put that much belief in that. But the stupid and weak minded can't grasp the real from the really fucking stupid, so they go with the really fucking stupid because that is all they know. And much like a new druggy, they try to get everyone else involved so they aren't alone in the shame.
There is a ton of open source projects on the internet.
But I feel sorry for you, since obviously you can't think for yourself. SoE (Sony online Entertainment) hires programmers who can't think for themselves, give them a call.
Take for instance, employees of a collections agency. These are people who perform a distasteful, but still required service. Nobody really likes being called by a bill collector, nor do they like having to use one to get deadbeat clients to pay up. Deadbeats especially, despise bill collectors, and some are even belligerent enough to be a real physical threat to collection employees. This is why many collections agencies provide work aliases for call center staff, etc. If a foolproof means of identifying people is developed, these employees are at risk.
Seriously dude, WTF?
Collection agencies are scum of the earth. They buy, in bulk and for very cheap, your debts, then harass you and your family to pay the bills. There has been numerous laws put on the books to protect people from bill collectors, mainly from the tactics that these people use.
These Collection Agencies are NOT any different then the Law firms that sue you on "behalf" of the Entertainment Industry.
In case you don't understand, lets put this in perspective. I owe you $50, and I haven't paid you yet, for whatever reason. You get tired of waiting, so you sell my debt of $50 to someone for lets say, $5. So are you going to be surprised when I don't pay that person $50? In fact, since I never had an agreement with that person, I do NOT plan on paying him shit. If you are stupid enough to sell my debt to you, then you just lost out your chance of getting your money.
And since you don't seem to understand, sometimes life sucks and you get behind in payments. Now, you might be able to pull yourself out, but a lot of times they won't work with you. You pay the $500 you owe now, or we send it to the collection agency. How you going to pay $500 now if you got no money? Does that make you a deadbeat? With the economy how it's been, fuck no. Banks get bailed out, people get shit on.
You're kidding, right? This is clear-cut extortion. You don't have to threaten to commit a criminal act to be guilty of extortion: all you need to do is threaten to do something unpleasant and demand something in exchange for not doing it. "Give me $5 or I'll punch you" is extortion, but so is "Give me $5 or I'll tell everyone you have a crush on Suzie", even though saying so is not a crime, and even though Suzie may already know.

First off, MS has made it's billions based off it's OS and Business software, that runs on pretty much every x86 computer.
Now, when someone else, like Apple, which has had the same type of business for as long as MS has, is actually doing really good, MS is jealous.
See, MS has to control everything, and they do NOT care who they step on to do that.
Remember DR Dos? Ya, MS fucked them.
Remember OS/2? Ya, MS fucked them with W95.
So now, when most everyone runs windows OS, MS is talking about not supporting computers unless you buy their specific hardware. And I'm more then postive it will not be cheap.
Awesome, so we don't have to rely on humans in those really close calls.
What... you mean like a "let's go to instant replay" type close call? As in "we think he struck out, but we'll have to go back and analyze each pitch to be sure"?
Let's see, the DVR they are talking about is software on their computers, and all they are "disabling" is access to that function. something that has been around computers since the OS's went multiuser.
Even if they put it some way to disable Hardware DVR's, all that amounts to is a software switch that disables it or not.
Much like Hollywood regurgitating old movies (and some not that old) into new movies, the Corporations are trying to get new Patents because stuff is done in software now, not hardware.
I think the Patent office should be able to charge Corporations money for false patents, patents with prior art, etc. They are over loading it with too much bullshit. Something good, like 5% of their gross worth. Would make the patent stuff more interesting.
You want to own your music and control how it's sold? Then produce it yourself.
This day and age, easy as all fucking hell.
Sure, you'll have to pony some money up for advertising, studio recording time, post production, album covers, even videos if you choose to make some.
But you'll be in control.
Here's a protip though, That piratebay is oddly a great source of getting your music heard. Sure, people are downloading it for free, but they are hearing it. Exposure is key.
And I have a hard time believing touring doesn't make you money unless you are a talentless, or a completely new act that isn't that good. Now some buddies of mine, when they were beginning, didn't make shit at shows. Why was that? No exposure, no one knew who they were. As they got more popular, put out some CD's with music on it, got more people hearing them, then they started getting bigger crowds and started making a little money at the shows. What worked for them? 3 Song CDR's that had the next couple of shows times on them.
Plus if touring didn't make money, why the fuck is there so many bands touring all the time? Seriously, no one wants to waste money like that if there is no return.
Normally I'd agree with you, but in this case bytes is better than bullets, IMO. If the future of warfare is more about breaking machines and less about killing people, well it is a step up.
Well, the Stuxnet caused one of them nuclear reactors to do something bad, not planned? Blue Screen of Death that causes an nuclear accident? Is that okay then?
I don't know if Iraq had any sophisticated WMDs or not. I know they had very primitive means they'd used in the past to deliver chemical weapons and did have some stockpiles of said chemicals but Obama's Director of National Intelligence (James Clapper) has claimed that Sadam had WMDs shipped to Syria before the invasion. Just google his name and you'll get articles about this. Honestly I could care less about it but I thought I'd point out that there is far from a consensus on WMDs in Iraq at the time of the US ground assault.
In case you missed the last decade or so, We invaded Iraq, there was NO WMD's, nothing. It was a lie by Bush and his cronies, to get us into a war that made plenty of money for him and his cronies.
And if you see a vulnerability in scum like Kim Barking Mad Teapots North Korea or Ahmadinejad's Iran then we should be doing our best to take them out now whilst we still can.
Which is exactly the mind set that got us into this position. Neither Iran nor North Korea would be such a big problem for us now if we hadn't sponsored a coup in one, and used the other as a proxy during the Cold War.
The way we deal with them today will set the stage for the next 50-100 years. We can keep fucking with them, or we can work on decreasing tensions.
I don't see us working with them. After all, the president who promised us big change and to be different is busy fucking that shit up with them.
Why do I prefer downloading? Probably because when I was a kid, there wasn't an internet. Sheesh, the first decade of my life there wasn't even BBS's. So when I'm a teenager, we finally got BBS's, but at 300 baud. You didn't rely on "streaming" anything, you downloaded it, and kept a copy if you wanted it, because it would be a big hassle to download it when you want it. Mainly if the BBS's/Phones are out.
Fast Forward a few years, staying at a buddies place. He keeps his phone numbers on his computer (talking the early 90's here). I tell him that is crazy. He disagrees, until the power goes out and he can NOT call the landlord because that phone number is on his computer. Which oddly enough, doesn't work without power.
Okay, now we are in the land of internet everywhere, devices that can play music (and hold it also), so you alot of people don't grasp the concept of not being connected. But when it happens, I will be listening to my MP3 player that has music I downloaded, and I will be able to watch movies that I have downloaded, because I do NOT stream anything.
Granted, it don't help me if the power is out, but then it don't help them either. Of course my mp3 player might be charged and playing music, oh,darn, can't stream your music? Sucks that that wifi went out.
Anyways, the youth of today think that playing first person shooters with gamepads is the way to go, so obviously you can't trust their judgement.
Okay, look, we all know how easy this stuff is to get around. That is the whole point. Google wants to educate the public on how to use computers for getting copies of music better.
First off, Google knows you can easily get a better copy of the song by using google. But people are lazy and don't to go thru instructions on how to do anything, they just want to pop an address in and out comes whatever they want. Google isn't happy about this. See, google makes a search engine, and if you always use the top find, you're wasting all the power of google going thru and ranking all the other links.
So now, people are going to have to use google and actually read and click on the other search results, not just the top one!!!!

My fans spin pretty fucking fast, and yet, they have dust on them (and cat hair, got to love the cat hair).
Let's go for a real world test. Put the heat sink in my computer, and let's see what happens.

How about this from a quick search of wikipedia.
shit dude, i was watching this show on Nat Geo and it said that whales came from these little rodents with deer like legs. Evolution rocks imo.
Whats a programmer to do?

Pay me royalties for patents i have, that may or may not apply, or I'll sue you.

Not stealing, no. Extortion, blackmail, whatever you want to call it, yes, and still very illegal and rightfully so.
Sort of like the current pay up or i take you to court that is all the rage these days?
I find this funny.

Start with the Doctor Who reboot in 2005, then bring in the Tom Baker Episodes.
It will get you laid.
Here at the NSA, we will NOT violate your privacy by telling you how many Americans privacy we have already violated.
Thank you, have a good day.
Here at the Catholic Church, we will NOT violate privacy by telling you which Priests violate children.
Thank you and god loves you, mainly little boys.
