Also interesting is that, as the price of CDs increase, shipments increase. This trend is not nearly as strong as the former, and is only based on a decade of data provided by the RIAA. Possible explanations for this trend include that CDs are a luxury item--unlikely, I should think--or that the economy's rise during this period (1990-2000) lead to an increase in spending.
What, is this guy crazy? Of course CDs are luxury items! When I was flush with my phat geek paycheck, I was buying CDs like there was no tomorrow. When I got laid off last year, what do you think one of the first things I stopped buying was? CDs, of course! I can live without the latest White Stripes CD, I can't live without making my mortgage payment and buying food.
Our solution to the problem is simple. We don't have any children and get to keep all the gaming for ourselves. We can play all the Virtua Fighter and Mortal Kombat we want without worrying about corrupting little minds.
But how much will it cost?

Have you ever looked at how much Braille notetakers go for? They start at around US$1000 and go up from there. I realize there's a limited market for braille products and the companies have to recoup R&D costs, but it really seems like this market gets price gouged. So what's this beauty gonna cost? US$5000?
It's got a braille display.

The phone includes a one line braille display, which is essentially that.
whether live shows are allowed to be recorded and redistributed. The record company usually doesn't have any rights to the live performance recordings. The fact that Clear Channel is trying to put forth such a system shows that they're just trying to find another way to make money off the backs of the bands.
The big question here is: How much of a cut will the bands get from these live perfomance CD's? A buck, maybe two?

How many users did you deploy to?
Are we talking a 50 person 'enterprise' or are we talking about thousands of users?
