Everyone's vote is being purchased. Television has turned it into a game of big dollars and high quality commercials. With the electoral college I don't think the individual vote matters that much anyhow. I still toss my 2 cents in the bucket but I know that realistically my vote is a "suggestion" at best and a waste of time at worst.
Some day I would like to see a few candidates worth actually voting for. I'm getting pretty tired of voting for the "least worst" of the candidates.
Friggin' "A" I've only "just" gotten comfy with MySQL. Time to start changing my server over to another application for my database needs. I have no issues with Java, since they didn't start open I don't expect much from them when they say they are "opening" things up, but taking a previously open application and closing parts off? No thank you, I'll find something else.
What a shame,
Justin
Couldn't we toss our dogs into orbit, break off chunks of the vehicle that got them to the planet, and toss the pieces off and down to the surface via chutes, rockets or like the bouncing rovers got there? Then each craft with the humans in it could be tossed to the surface much lighter and hopefully easier to land gently than one huge annual supply load.
Just a thought. And hay, what happened to the mind set of the late 50's early 60's.. Toss them up there and pay for it later? lol
