  1. tantrum on AAC Chosen For DVD-ROM Section Of DVD Audio Discs · · Score: 4, Funny

Okay, this is your cue to roll around on the floor with froth coming from your mouth and blood pouring from your eyes screaming "Ogg Vorbis, Ogg Vorbis!"

  2. reduced drag on UFO Streaks Through Martian sky · · Score: 5, Informative

Satellites in low and medium orbits around earth are slowed by the earth's thick atmosphere. The relatively thin atmosphere of Mars would allow a spacecraft to orbit for MUCH longer at lower orbits due to reduced drag.

  3. Military Stories on Lifting The Lid On Computer Filth · · Score: 1

Reminds me of the stories my father tells of eating monkey-on-a-stick while overseas in the Navy. Since the topic of discussion is microbiology, his stories of asian hookers would be appropriate too, but I digress...

  4. Thank you... on USB Swiss Army Knife · · Score: 1

You just made me realize that, as far as geekiness goes, I am really not that bad. But you sir, are the master.

  5. Not just games on TV Losing to Video Games · · Score: 1

Although the spin on this is games, it probably applies to personal computer use in general. Many people, when given a choice, will pick their own entertainment rather than have it chosen for them. Shopping, reading, social interaction or... spoon-fed garbage. Not a tough choice.

  6. New software type... on Real's Reality · · Score: 2, Funny

I'm not sure if it was original, but I saw a gentleman in a forum describe Real software as "facehuggerware."

One thing that is often overlooked about radiation exposure is the fact that radioactive particles WITHIN your body are much more dangerous than just being exposed to radiation. Alpha radiation can be stopped by PAPER, but if a particle lodges within your body (say, your lungs), that constant stream of alpha radiation (as well as the beta and gamma of course) becomes extremely dangerous. It may already be too late, but she should be wearing at least a breathing mask in this area. Sad, sad.
