    No, you are wrong - the lines 10 to 20 are totally obsolete and were removed due to the code optimization; the real source code should contain only the last line: 10 GOTO 10

    Excuse me, but did they mention that any AMD64 processor comes out of the power-off state as well as every interrupt (even the _timer_ one) in the 32-bit mode? It, _architecturally_, isnt even close to the level of the IBM G5 or SUN Spark IIIi!

    Ask yourself, if it could really be an operating system if it doesn't let it's user/hacker not only hack around the source code, but MAKES him use the GUI with no other options?! Have you ever tried to configure a M$ WinNT machine using telnet? I?ve tried and it surely was a very unpleasant experience ever after the GNU, Cygwin & PsTools were installed...

    ...that, being close to the NeXT and/or Rhapsody visually, the BeOS had a different internal architecture... Not saying that it file system was not fully POSIX comparable, 'tis it had no access control => not suitable for many tasks.
