It is if you're used to windows and you've never seen a cli in your life.
Try to get a USB ADSL modem to work without fcuking around with shelscripts and arcane commands when you're just a linux newb like me and see how much fun you have.
OK, I bow to you're greater knowledge. I worked in an expensive Hi-Fi shop a couple of years ago and I got beaten over the head with the Vinyl is better than CD argument too many times I suppose. They used to sell Turntables costing upwards of $2000!!!
Ok you got me there. I used the wrong terminology. I meant sound fidelity. I.E. an actual recording of the music rather than a 16-bit interpretation of one;-) This is obviouly why when digital recording is used in most studios (Home or professional) 24bit/96kHz is now used. Also the quality of the machine you're using to play the music on is a factor. $50 CD player Vs $500 turntable and vice-versa. Who wins? You get what you pay for.
Vinyl has a greater dynamic range than CD does so you get a better quality sound. SACD format is getting close though and this only really applies if you have a good quality turntable and not some crappy $50 Radio Shack thing with a sewing needle for a stylus.
