In many ways, there is no difference between politics and commerce. The government is well on its way to increasing technology regulations. If a regulation comes down that "for the good of the industry" we all have to conform to.NET, it would have a major impact on commerce. That's just a far-fetched example. As more minor regulations are handed down, minor negative impacts are experienced. Computer technolog has benefited greatly from limited government intervention. Don't mention computer/internet origin, I'm talking about where we have gone since then.
I think the point the group is trying to get across is that we do not need more government regulation now or in the future. I think that is a wonderful message and more than worthy for actively supporting.
I didn't see anything about increasing the luminenscence (sp?) of the screens. I don't think this will be the end of CRT. I, for one, prefer CRT for my gaming. Of course, for my TV/Movie watching....
I totally agree. Game design is already being abandoned in favor "What can we build and sell really fast?" Also, stability will be further abandoned: "I'm sorry, we're going to patch the refrigerator shopping-list version before we can even look at the pen-based version."

Well, I'm doing my part. I bought GTA3 and GTA: Vice City. I love the genre. I'd like to see them add more multiplayer aspects to it though.

I did the same thing. Of course, I still think some of those Mario-variants I designed are better than some commerical games.
I assumed Serial ATA. That's more than small enough.
