So some people are lame and let their Netflix movies sit on the desk without being watched? Maybe they should cancel their subscription and donate the money to charity instead? I don't know about you but this news item seems kinda lame. I watch all my Netflix movies and I have the 6-at-a-time program. I'm often anxiously awaiting the next arrival.

Right, but we're employed elsewhere and are building the software company in our spare time. If the company is able to fully support us some day, that would be great. If not, then we have little at risk.

SSH is nearly unbearable. At best case, you have a 2-second delay, but there are often times when I wait 30 seconds to see things I just typed. If you have ANY other option, don't go StarBand.

Thanks! Your explaination is much better than the NY Times article. Maybe you should go to work for them... ;)

Based on your explaination, it doesn't seem like this would be a reliable means of transmitting information. Sounds like it's "just fun science tricks you can do with rare gases".

I question this sentence from the NY Times write-up:

"That is so fast that, under these peculiar circumstances, the main part of the pulse exits the far side of the chamber even before it enters at the near side."

Does this seem like a mistake to anybody else?
